GEN 3 LS Swap start up tune
Some companies offering VATS delete for less. But that is only to get it started. For proper operation, your PCM needs to be calibrated so that your engine and transmission are matched to your vehicle and emissions and other equipment.
Send us your PCM and we will set it up for your vehicle
we will do the following unless specified otherwise:
- Remove VATS (prevents engine from starting when outside of original vehicle)
- Disable rear Oxygen sensors so catalytic convertors can be removed
- If using a 4L60 or 4L80, adjust for tire size and gear ratio
- Enable fans and set at OEM temperature switch points
- Setup for proper tachometer signal
- Disable EVAP if required
- Disable all unnecessary trouble codes that are not applicable anymore, proper diagnostics will remain in effect.
Automatic transmission can also be removed if using a manual or TH350/400 transmission.
If changing from 4L60 to 4L80 or vise versa, purchase the transmission segment swap separate.
